Terms of Service

1. Service description

BorealTV provides a subscription-based IPTV streaming service that delivers live television channels, video-on-demand content and electronic program guide (EPG) data over the internet. Access is provided via the IBO Player application on a single authorized device per subscription.

2. Account registration

• You must provide accurate, complete and current information when ordering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your playlist credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your province or territory of Canada, to hold an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription plans and payment

BorealTV offers the following subscription terms. All amounts are in Canadian dollars.

• All prices are quoted and charged in Canadian dollars.
• Subscriptions are activated promptly upon payment confirmation.
• Payments are processed securely. BorealTV does not store payment card details.
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew. Each term is a single payment and ends on its expiry date unless you choose to extend.
• The intro offer is intended for new customers and is limited to one per household.

4. Refunds

All sales are final once an account has been activated. Because the Service provides immediate access to digital streaming content:

• No refunds are issued after account activation.
• Exceptions apply only in cases of: (a) a verified service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours, in which case a pro-rata credit may be issued; or (b) a confirmed duplicate charge, which will be refunded in full.
• Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the qualifying event.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must NOT:

• Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense your account credentials to any third party.
• Use the Service to broadcast, publicly display or re-stream content.
• Attempt to circumvent any access controls, DRM protections or authentication systems.
• Use automated tools, bots or scrapers to access the Service.
• Use the Service in a manner that violates any applicable law in Canada or elsewhere.
• Use the Service to access content in regions where such access is prohibited.

Violation of these terms will result in immediate account termination without refund. Legitimate resale is available exclusively through our reseller programme.

6. Device limitation

Each subscription allows access on one (1) device at a time. Concurrent streaming on multiple devices is not permitted. The Service is compatible exclusively with the IBO Player application. BorealTV does not provide support for third-party applications. Details of supported platforms are on our app page.

7. Service availability

BorealTV strives to maintain 99.9% uptime and measures it continuously. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance, announced in advance where possible
• Unplanned technical issues
• Third-party content provider disruptions
• Force majeure events

BorealTV is not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control, including faults in your own internet connection or device.

8. Intellectual property

All content delivered through the Service — including live channels, video-on-demand titles, logos and EPG data — is the property of its respective content owners and licensors. BorealTV does not claim ownership of third-party content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content for personal use only.

The BorealTV name, logo and website design are the property of BorealTV and may not be used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may cancel at any time by contacting [email protected]; access continues until the end of the paid term.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOREALTV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the Province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the new Terms at https://borealtv.ca/terms.html with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
